Friends of Gus Weill

Richard Edelman has a very touching post today about Gus Weill, Jr., a PR practitioner that took his life a few weeks ago.

I didn't know Weill, but I can attest to the fact that this industry can take a toll at times. If you're in the industry long enough, you'll have your war stories about Tums and caffeine.

If you are feeling charitable, Richard Edelman and Chris K of Burson-Marsteller, have set up a fund for Gus's son. The information is on Richard's blog.

  1. Jeremy,
I am one of Roberts students at Auburn University and I got word that tomorrow is your birthday! Well happy early birthday and I hope you have a wonderful day! I hope you enjoy reading our blogs although I know mine can be boring and thoughtless at times, but thanks for taking an interest in our class. Again, happy birthday and good luck with everything!

  2. Jeremy,
Hey it's Kelly again..I had not looked over your lastest posts before I posted my last comment, so I just wanted to compliment you on your devotion to breast cancer awareness. I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and our philanthropy is breast cancer awareness and research. And it is always so encouraging to see people, like yourself, trying to help find a cure. Keep up the good work!

  3. Happy Birthday Jeremy!

I'm in Robert's class and have been a "slacker blogger" due to my busy schedule....but i am changing my ways! I think blogging is very interesting now and the more i've learned about it, from both you and Robert, the more i am enjoying it!

    Hope your day was great!
